Opinions Dissolving

Opinions - pastel and dry pigment on paper, 19 " x 25" by artist Libby George

I remember having strong opinions. I have mostly forgotten what they were and I don't seem to have new opinions to take their place. Strong opinions take a great deal of energy. Opinions can separate and divide which is troublesome because opinions are not truths.

I would like to spend more of my time pondering who I am and where I'm going. If I have a choice, I choose saving my energy for painting and not wasting it with concerns about my neighbor's differing opinions. All this being said, I am aware it is an opinion that I have fewer opinions.

This painting is opinions dissolving with unity hopeful.
